Dr Khaled F. Sherif is a senior advisor at the World Bank, and is the former Vice President for Regional Development, Integration and Business Delivery Complex at The African Development Bank in Abidjan (Ivory Coast). Born in Alexandria (Egypt), Dr Sherif has over thirty five years of experience in multilateral and bilateral development agencies, and is an economic scholar and academician. Dr. Sherif is a development expert and author with experience in over 70 countries, and is an Africa and Middle East specialist. Dr. Sherif has also authored 7 books, and thousands of articles and blogs. He holds a B.A in Economics, minoring in Management; an M.A. in Economics; and an M.A. in Political Science, and he holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management from Boston University.
